Lili TIAN


Lili TIAN, graduated from the University of Oxford with a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics. She is now the Vice Dean of the School of Foreign Languages at Renmin University of China, Professor, Director of doctoral students, and the managing director the Teaching and Researching EFL Writing Committee of the China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese. Her research focuses on second language writing, second language vocabulary acquisition, and code-switching, among other areas. In recent years, she has published more than ten papers in core foreign language journals in China such as Foreign Languages and Their Teaching, as well as in international Social Sciences Citation Index (SSCI) journals including Language Teaching Research, System, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Frontiers in Psychology, and Language Awareness. Additionally, she has authored three monographs and textbooks. In 2013, she was selected for the Beijing Young Talent Program.
